Frankyeffe 16-Tracks debut album "Trenta" features a very original Melody-driven techno sound.

I usually write and sometimes over care the albums or other issues on which I write reviews, that's my style. Maybe sometimes I do it unnecessarily. This is not that occasion. It is always an honor for me to write about music, and when it comes to a debut album, its always better. This time is the turno of "Trenta", the debut album of Frankyeffe, as he describe it as a "turning point that marks a new direction in the artistic and personal life of one of the best emerging producers of the current Italian techno scene." And definitely i agree. This particularly album has just got me, i really like it, the mix of different sounds and rhythms, strong and soft, its amazing. just drives you to an entire journey of sound, its a pleasure to listen to the 16 tracks. For me Frankyeffe got the five stars on this one, for real. 

"This is not the end, it's just the beginning." is the main phrase that describes this debut album, hell yes because if the line continues, good music is coming. The official Release Date is November 9th, 2015 Digital + Vinyl, and December 7th, 2015 in physical CD. I have to say is, Riot Recordings has a big one with this release.

This is not the end, it’s just the beginning. This is the philosophy that lies behind ‘Trenta’, the debut album of Frankyeffe. Trenta is an intimate album and as the title suggests, is a turning point that marks a new direction in the artistic and personal life of one of the best emerging producers of the current Italian techno scene.

The sixteen tracks run through a range of different sounds with new sonorities that have yet to appear in Frankyeffe extensive catalogue of productions. Melody-driven techno and electronica meet in a unique sonic middle-ground where hard and melodic tracks coexist. The producer takes a vocal turn on ‘Into Rippled Stream’, the sole vocal-driven track of the album. Featuring the vcals of Phil, one of the most interesting Italian voices of the genre, ‘Into Rippled Stream’ represents Frankyeffe’s new musical direction, drawing on feelings of nostalgia and yearning and turning them into something more carefree and contemplative.

"I wanted to add to my sound palette… Different genres and sounds that I hadn’t tackled before but that I’d been thinking about for some time. ‘Trenta’ felt like the right moment to set myself new challenges. These types of sound have always fascinated me, I have always loved melodies fused with electronics and it was great to be able to broaden my cultural and musical knowledge.
