Nobody knew we were big fans of US film director Paul Thomas Anderson so when a strange guy presenting himself as Diggler came to us it was clear that he wasn't trying to impress. Well, after less then one hour the alter ego of the infamous Boogie Nights character Dirk Diggler was already on board of Engrave Ltd and not due to his sexual performances. From the first notes 'Chemistry' has captivated everyone attention in the office thanks to the intense vocals and the kinda of noir atmosphere mixed with an unusual ironic lyric. It was clearly an Engrave Ltd piece of music. The original 101 bpm mix by Paco Terio (come on this can't be his real name… yes it is!!!) got immediately the retro futuristic treatment by Dodi Palese which enhanced, where it was possible, the melancholic character of the track created by the piano chords mixed to a resonant guitar flow. Musumeci drops a deep trance remix version injecting to the song his characteristic melodic soft moog and a strong arpeggiato twist giving us also his secret instrumental mix for the more dubby moments.
